We are excited to announce that we are now a drop-off location for Lift: The Bra Project. Here at Carry, we firmly believe in carrying things forward and giving new life to clothing that no longer serves us. We want to create a community where women helping and supporting each other is easy & accessible.
The Lift Bra Project has successfully identified a need and had a great response because anyone who has ever had a bra struggle (And all women sure have) can relate to this. Not having access to these essentials just adds another level of difficulty.
They welcome bra donations of all colours, styles (lace, cotton, sports, bralettes) and sizes that we clean and bring to shelters across Toronto.
It’s incredible how much personality people are wearing under their clothes. Whether for function or fashion our bras are an expression of how we’re feeling or want to feel, as we move through the day.
Not #feelingyourself in your bra? Donate it to someone who will. Life’s too short not to express yourself!
The Lift Bra Project is an organization that collects gently used bras for donation that will go to places such as Sistering, Elizabeth Fry Toronto, Jessie’s Centre and Ve’ahavta. They work with retail spaces across the city to ensure easy and convenient drop off locations for you to take your donations to.
Whether it’s a maternity or nursing bra from a previous pregnancy or one from before your pregnancy journey, Lift is a great way to give your bra a new life.
Because bras are such a big aspect of our business, you can now drop off your gently worn bra donations here at Carry Maternity, located at 110 Cumberland St. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you!
